This year again the Open Churches open day was a high point for the parishes and for the discovery of our religious heritage. More than 300 buildings, both members and non-members of the Foundation, opened their doors wide on this 6thof June. Some 130 participants organised a special festive event such as a concert, a guided tour, an exhibition, a tourist trail or welcoming drinks. Although the unfavourable weather discouraged some visitors, this did not detract from the enthusiasm of the organisers, some of whom proposed opening for the whole weekend next year. The open day for Open Churches will be on the 4th and 5th of June 2011.
